Review: 1st DMVÖ Call Center Initiative 2008
Talk by CCC CEO Thomas Kloibhofer on the topic of “Call Center 2018”.
On 11 June 2008, the DMVÖ Call Center Initiative 2008 invited guests to Wolke 19 in Vienna’s Ares Tower. Top experts talked about the latest call center topics such as permission marketing in the inbound and outbound telesales center. Competence Call Center CEO Thomas Kloibhofer concluded the evening with a keynote speech about his visions for the call center 2018. The call center visionary founded Competence Call Center AG ten years ago. Today he believes that in ten years’ time, 90 percent of call center activities will be outsourced. The entrepreneur also anticipates that the call center business will not stay in the region. The call center pioneer particularly highlighted the development of outsourcing with reference to near and offshoring and talked about the continuing globalisation of the industry. Kloibhofer believes that only high-quality services will stay in the Germany/Austria/Switzerland region. Simple services will be outsourced to neighbouring countries or countries further away and standard inquiries will be dealt with through technology.
In addition to a glance of the future of the industry, guests listened to exciting contributions by Robert Hackl, CEO Tele2 Österreich and Dr Stephan Meusburger (solicitor with Benesch & Meusburger ) on the Austrian telecommunication regulations and Martin Resel, M.A., Head of Residential Sales, Tele2 Austria on the topic of best practice from a client perspective. Around 50 guests attended the event hosted by Milosch Alexander Godina, head of the expert group Call Center and Anton Jenzer, DMVÖ vice president and took the opportunity for discussion with call center experts. The call center experts concluded the evening over a buffet and lively discussion in a relaxed atmosphere.
