The Contact Center Awards were presented for the first time on 26/03/2009 at the Call Center and Customer Care Conference & Expo 2009 in Bucharest. The Competence Call Center received two awards. CCC Bucharest was presented with the “Best Call Center” award in the category “Medium”, and Cristina Georgescu, supervisor at CCC Bucharest was nominated “Best Call Center Supervisor” and presented with the “Simona Barsanu Award”.
The Romanian Competence Call Center location impressed the jury of seven international members in the areas of competence, personal enthusiasm, high quality assurance standards and professional service as well as providing employees with an outstanding working environment.
“Although I am accepting the award as Call Center manager for CCC, my team has earned it. Our employees are the heart of CCC Bucharest. Together, we have managed to get to the point where we are today, demonstrably the best call center in Romania“, said a happy Andreea Negrea, Call Center Manager at the Competence Call Center about the latest award.

In addition to the CCC Bucharest Best Callcenter Award, Cristina Georgescu, Call Center Supervisor at CCC Bucharest, also received an award. She was presented with the “Best Call Center Supervisor – Simona Barsanu award”. In this category, the award went to the call center personality who demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, a highly solution-oriented approach as well as the respect of staff and superiors.
Cristina Georgescu impressed the jury with her extraordinary enthusiasm for the call center industry, her tireless loyalty to her team and her commitment and position as a role model. She managed to win over the jury with her solution-oriented approach, enthusiasm for projects, staff and for quality assurance as well as her method of working, which focuses on operating figures.

The Contact Center Awards originated from an initiative by the Contact Center Magazine (www.contactcentermagazine.ro) and were awarded for the first time at the Call Center Expo 2009 (www.callcenterexpo.ro) in Bucharest. The awards recognise call centers and call center experts for outstanding achievements. The “Best Supervisor Simona Barsanu” prize is awarded in memory of Simona Barsanu. She was an outstanding call center supervisor who achieved great things over the course of six years and who taught others a great deal. In 2009, the Call Center Expo took place for the fifth time in Bucharest . It is the specialist trade fair for call centers and customer care in Romania.
