The public had the possibility to vote for their favorite customer service in retail. As a result of winning, the customer service of Competence Call Center (CCC) for their partner Zalando received international recognition. Since 2010 CCC employees have supported the customers of the e-commerce business from their locations in Berlin, Dresden and Vienna.

Zalando pays the upmost attention to customer satisfaction and providing customer-friendly processes. The company established a free service hotline, there are no mailing costs and customers have – depending on the market – a right to exchange or return their products in up to 100 days. In 2012 Zalando was awarded the “German Service Award” in the category E-Commerce as well as the “European E-Commerce Award” and the “German Marketing Award”.

At the Award Gala held at the end of February in Las Vegas Competence the Competence Call Center also received the golden Stevie® Award in the category „Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year“.
