Samsung Electronics Austria & Switzerland and Competence Call Center GmbH (CCC) have been awarded with a gold trophy in the “Customer Service Team of the Year” category for their successful partnership this year. The International Business Stevie® Award is one of the most sought-after business awards worldwide.
Since August 2012, a steadily growing CCC team has been responsible for taking care of Samsung customers in Austria and Switzerland. Based in Vienna and Berlin, the team handles requests via phone, email, chat and social media channels in English, German and French. For Austria, a dedicated B2B team takes care of business requests.
“An important part of the contacts with our brand happens through customer service. As consumers today considerably include the quality of service in their purchasing decision, the cooperation with our partner CCC is of the highest priority for us. The success of our partnership is based on the technical and communicative skills of our partner’s employees and a strong focus on employee motivation. The brand and product identification of our service agents – as a result of their active product use and regular trainings – ensure the highly efficient handling of our customer requests”,
says Peter Benedet, Senior Head of Customer Service, Samsung Electronics Austria GmbH, about the cooperation.
The Samsung team in CCC takes care of tasks that go far beyond traditional contact center topics. Among other things, web site content is being created and social media channels are being supervised. The team offers remote support services for smartphones, tablets and Smart TVs and schedules technician appointments.
“The cooperation between the CCC employees and Samsung is of the greatest importance for us. With their help we receive vital information from end-users daily, which are critical to improving our service. Since 2014, we have established a regular bottom-up communication that provides us with valuable feedback. The closer the relationship with our employees, the better our service. We are very proud of having achieved our common goals, which is also confirmed by the Business Stevie Award. My congratulations”,
says Thomas Dantz, Customer Care Manager, Samsung Electronics GmbH Switzerland.
The coveted Business Stevie Awards are presented at the Stevie Awards Gala in late October in Toronto, Canada.
Christopher Schwarz, the responsible CCC project manager for Samsung, will be there to accept the trophy:
“The award is an outstanding recognition of the performance of our team. Great motivation along with high technical know-how distinguishes our staff. In our partnership with Samsung, we implement our common understanding of qualitative customer service together. Congratulations to my entire team and our partner”.
