Review 2016: A look-back on the year in CCC

A lot has happened in 2016: by the end of the year, we are taking stock of the CCC successes and highlights of the past 12 months. Look back with us at events, awards and new locations and forward to an exciting New Year 2017.

Expansions and new partners

In 2016 CCC opened up two further locations in Istanbul, Turkey and Biel, Switzerland.

“Turkey continues to be a growth market with potential for both domestic and international business. With our second location in Istanbul, we are adding further resources to the existing presence in the Turkish market. Since 2008, we have already been successful in Istanbul; in 2015, we have opened a new location in Izmir,”

says CEO Christian Legat about CCC in Turkey.

With the start of the cooperation with SunExpress another milestone was reached for the location in Izmir in 2016. At the beginning of September – shortly before the first location anniversary – the cooperation and the operational business were initiated at an official press event.

„Biel is located on the language border and offers a distinctive multilingualism in German and French. The central location within Switzerland offers the perfect accessibility from all parts of the country. In Biel we find employees with relevant experience to provide first-class customer service for our partners”,

said COO Ulf Herbrechter at the opening of the Swiss location.

With these expansions and enlargements at existing locations, CCC created space for new projects:

“In 2016, CCC was once again able to win several international partners. We are excited about new partnerships with companies in the aviation, e-commerce, energy, consumer goods and telecommunication industries,”

Awards for the CCC Team

At the Romanian Contact Center Awards 2016, an employee at CCC Braşov received the Special Award in the extraordinary category “Best People and Quality Management” for her commitment to training and quality management. The location currently employs 200 people.

The local team in Essen was also recognized with an award in 2016: Competence Call Center Essen GmbH was the first company to receive a Certificate for Inclusion by the Essen Employment Agency in mid-April. With the certificate, the Agency honours the company’s ongoing commitment to employing people with disabilities. Ulf Herbrechter, COO in CCC, about the recognition and recruiting concept in CCC:

„It is great that our commitment is being seen and appreciated. This strengthens us in keeping up our work in the field of inclusion. Our company philosophy is: ‘What counts are your skills!’ We evaluate the talents and skills of the people who apply for a job with us, and we do not exclude anybody. At our various CCC locations we employ people from 60 different nations and of all ages. We offer newcomers or people coming from different career backgrounds very good opportunities to join the working life, and we are always on the lookout for motivated and committed employees.“

Anniversaries and Events

On the occasion of the 18th Anniversary end of June, CCC welcomed 150 international partners, media and association representatives at the Executive Day led by top speaker Dr. Stephan Sigrist and the evening celebration at the Gloriette.

In his welcome speech, CEO Christian Legat drew the attention to two more jubilees:

“We are also celebrating our 10th anniversary in Slovakia, as well as 15 years of CCC in Germany”.

The 19th CCC Convention took place at Studio 44 in Vienna on the 6th of October 2016.

Over 100 international guests followed the invitation of CCC to Vienna to be inspired by exceptional customer service concepts in the digital age.

Speakers from France, Canada, Romania, Switzerland and Turkey presented to the topic “Inspiring Customer Service – Discover great European success stories about amazing products and services”.

The CCC Special Award 2016 went to Robert Murray, bestselling author and international business leader.


In the coming year 2017, CCC will continue to grow. With international BPO solutions for existing and new partners from all over the world, CCC will continue to secure its leading position on the market.

Among other things, the year 2017 starts for CCC with the largest industry event in the German-speaking area – the Call Center World (CCW). From the 20th to 23rd February, you will meet CCC at the stand 1A16 between exhibition hall 1 and hall 3, as well as in the exclusive CCC Lounge 1A18.
