Vienna – The most livable city in the world

It is well known that Vienna is a beautiful city with many historical sites and charming cafes. But according to the EIU (Economist Intelligence Unit), it is even “the most livable city in the world”! As Vienna has won the title for the 2nd year in a row already, we were wondering what makes this city so special and asked our colleagues from the founding city of CCC. And because Christmas is coming, they’ve also shared their secret tips for the best Christmas markets 😉

Customer service agent Mikaella enjoys “The multicultural mix, that the residents are nice and helpful and you can get everywhere quickly with the public transportation system.” At this time of the year, she likes to go on Christmas markets and despite many people, she likes the Rathausplatz, because you can go not only to the Christmas market, but also ice skating.

Verena from the HR Marketing team likes “The diversity that Vienna offers in all areas“. She says that “despite being a big city, Vienna is very cozy”. In winter, she rather spends time in one of the many small cafes, which can be found every hundred meters to escape the cold and the wind and on the way, she stops by at one of the market stalls to enjoy roasted chestnuts or Langos.

Kerstin (customer service agent) says: “I appreciate the active nightlife in Vienna and that you quickly meet new people – you can go out alone and be sure that you meet enough nice people to spend a fun evening“ She thinks that you should visit all the Christmas markets and warm yourself up with delicious mulled wine.

And Team Support Flo thinks that it’s great that Vienna is “such a colorful city where there is always something going on. No matter what you want to do, you will find the right offer.” At this time of the year, he likes to go to the markets in the old AKH or in the Türkenschanzpark.

So what do you think, do you feel like visiting Vienna now? See you on the Christmas market 🙂
